The Delays In Your Life!

The Delays In Your Life!

Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree. Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it. (Jeremiah 1:11-12).

According to the verses above, it seems that God was asking Jeremiah a question during a time when the prophet was experiencing some uncertainty.

God was very curious about what Jeremiah was seeing and questioned what he was seeing.

It is limiting and unjustified by Scripture to see your delay in life as being beyond the purview of God's word.

Because of our inability to read and understand God's word, there are a great many blunders and conflicts in our society today, especially in the church.

We cannot dismiss this as irrelevant and ignore it! We all need the power of the Holy Spirit in order to function and correctly interpret scripture.

But as the one whom God rightfully designated to preach the gospel to the ends of the earth, I feel it is my obligation to make this point clear to everyone.

I'd like us to concentrate on a small lesson we may learn from King David, a well-known former king of Israel, for our case study on "the delays in your life." After rejecting his predecessor, God chose him.

It took king David over a dozen years before he could sit on the throne, despite the fact that he was God's preferred choice. Was it because God didn't choose the most qualified person for the position? Of course, God is perfect and absolutely right.

How was it possible that David had to wait for such a long time before being acknowledged as a legitimate king? How could God find such joy in demeaning and insulting the man He chose?

What life lessons can we draw from the story of King David?  I believe there is some comfort in carefully considering King David's ascent to the throne.
The Bible says in 2 Peter 3:8–9,ESV.

But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day...one day is like or as a thousand years, the word - "like" (or "as") denotes a figure of speech used to show that although though God created time, He is not limited by it.

This is how I see it, dear friend!

✅ Timing is important, but our living God is not limited by time! God never arrives too soon or too late. He never rushes; rather, He is always at the right place and at the right time.

✅When your prayers don't seem to be answered, you may feel frustrated and think that God has abandoned you, but that has never actually been the case.

✅ Those who believe that nothing is working for, you may view putting trust in the Lord as outdated. It's only a matter of time, so never give up.

✅ God cares for His own.

✅Keep praying even when things aren't going exactly how you'd like them to.

✅Stop trying to go against God's will. Rely upon God; He is a way maker..

✅Hold on, delays are not denials, there's no disappointment in Jesus.

✅If you have had any delays or if you are going through disappointment, don't give up please!

✅One thing to note; God is more than capable to change times and seasons.

✅Whatever God started in your life, He will finish it.

✅Delays do not signify abandonment; even if it may appear late, it is not over!

✅God will intervene on your behalf, just a little time.

I pray, that you will not miss your appointed time for testimony in Jesus name.
