My Dear Readers,
I'm writing to let you know that starting on September 1st, 2023, I will be taking a well-deserved vacation to see my mother and unwind in Oron. My father, whom I had previously described as a very intelligent man, died when I was still a freshman in high school. Our education has only ever been sponsored by Mom. I am the fifth child in a family of eight. At this point, I'll take a brief break from blogging. On September 6, 2023, I'll be in touch once more with some fresh posts. The ministry will continue to operate throughout the break; there won't be any online posting until the designated six days have passed.
The Oron Nation of which I am one, are an ethnic group in southern Nigeria with a shared culture and language. They are located in the riverine area of Akwa Ibom and Cross River States, and also in Cameroon. The Oron people are made up of nine clans with five local government areas (LGAs) in Akwa Ibom state: Oron LGA (Oron Central), Okobo, Udung Uko, Mbo, and Urue Ofong Oruko. The Oron people have a rich history and culture. They are also known for their enthusiasm for education, traditional crafts, beadwork, and fishing. They are a vibrant and engaged community that continues to make significant contributions to the Akwa Ibom State and the country of Nigeria.
I'll be taking advantage of the local cuisine as well as conducting prayer meetings in coastal areas, and I've already had invitations to serve as a minister in two fellowships.
Here is the word from God that I will leave with you:
Acts 20:32: And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.
Acts 20:33: I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel.
