My name is Rev. Don Victor, and at my core, I am called to reach the unreached and win the lost for Christ. The year 2024 brought a transformative shift in my journey, fundamentally altering my perspective and approach after completing my PhD.

Interviewer: Dr. Don Victor, congratulations on completing your PhD! How did it feel to reach that milestone?

Dr. Don Victor:
Thank you! It was an incredible sense of accomplishment. The years of intense study and dedication finally bore fruit. More than the academic credential, earning my PhD represented a significant leap forward in fulfilling my divine calling. It was a sacred moment of reflection—on how far I’ve come, and how much more I’m equipped to offer the world through both scholarship and ministry.

Ministry Transformed by Scholarship

Interviewer: You're now reigniting your mission passion after pausing for your research. How has your PhD influenced your approach to ministry?

Dr. Don Victor:

My research helped me explore the complexities of human behavior, culture, and global realities. This intellectual depth has reshaped how I minister. Now, I’m better positioned to discern people's needs and present the gospel in ways that resonate with their real-world experiences. Ministry is no longer just about proclamation—it’s about compassion, connection, and contextual understanding.

The Interplay Between Academic Insight and Spiritual Calling

Interviewer: Some might see a PhD and your International ministry as two separate paths. How do you see them working together in your life?

Dr. Don Victor:

To me, they are completely integrated. The critical thinking, discipline, and analytical skills I gained during my PhD now serve as tools for more effective ministry. Whether I'm tackling theological dilemmas or addressing socio-spiritual challenges, my academic training helps me navigate these areas with clarity and purpose. The gospel doesn’t lose power through intellect—it gains dimension when rightly applied.

A New Chapter in Missions

Interviewer: What are you most looking forward to as you re-engage with your missionary work?


Dr. Don Victor:
I’m excited to reconnect with the field, this time with renewed insight and spiritual depth. The years of academic pursuit were also years of personal growth and reflection. I now return to missions with a stronger message, a clearer voice, and a heart ready to serve more deeply. This is not just a return—it’s a relaunch into greater impact.
