Change your life's direction with God's word. Everyone's life is moving in certain directions. A disaster is brewing if our lives do not follow the path that God, our creator, has laid out for us.

It is true that your perspective on life and your thoughts are both very important. But you must avoid acting as though God doesn't exist. When the door has been opened, we can't try to open it again. Going the way of the Lord is all it takes to change the direction of our lives.

There is something referred to as "the way of the Lord." God says that His ways are distinct from our ways and that His thoughts are superior to human thoughts.

Isaiah 55:8:

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. In order to change from man's direction to God's direction, there are five steps to take.

Step 1: The Direction of Thinking

Step 2: The Direction of Seeing

Step 3: The Direction of Hearing

Step 4: The Direction of Moving

Step 5: The Direction of Worship

As I write about each of these series, I pray that God will give us a deeper understanding in the name of Jesus.

Step 1: THE DIRECTION OF THINKING

Proverbs 23:7: For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.

As you think, so you are, according to the Bible. The implication of this is that some of us are limited by the way we think. What do you think right now? There are ancient men and women who made significant contributions to the world's advancement of science, technology, and development through creative thinking.

These were the people whose concepts upended the entire globe. Due to their innovative thinking, a select few individuals, including Thomas Edison and Alexander Graham Bell, were among the greatest scientists and thinkers of all time. What we think, how we think, and where we think are the foundations of creativity. We cannot be creative if the direction of our thinking is toward destruction. What you are thinking at this moment will determine what you do next in life. Those who think negatively tend to act similarly.

For instance, people who believe that committing suicide is the answer to their problems will undoubtedly end up committing suicide. Suicide is not a viable option for resolving life's issues, as you and I both know. It would be a terrible waste to think about it. God values your thoughts, which is why He wants to be at the center of everything you think.

Philippians 2:5; Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Let the same mindset permeate you as it did in Christ Jesus. Whose mind was it that Jesus had? The ideas of pleasing the Father and giving hope to the hopeless were both on Christ's mind at all times. Despite being God, Jesus never views himself as being on par with God. He had no thirst for divine privileges. Instead, he reduced himself to nothing.

All of that mirrored the viewpoint of Christ Jesus. Do my thoughts reflect God's thoughts? Is the question I want you to ponder. The option is yours to let Christ's endless possibilities enter your mind.

2 Corinthians 10:5: Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Every imagination, including those of failure and premature death, must be brought down to Christ's obedience. Or, to put it another way, we must bring down any bad thinking that springs from something other than God's purposes for us.

Do The Following Prayers:

1) Be destroyed by the blood of Jesus, every negative thinking in mind in Jesus Name.

2) I rid myself of every fear, I fear no evil in Jesus name.

3) Christ is on my mind, and I think and act like him in Jesus name.

4) I purge all spiritual impurity from my mind by the blood of Jesus Christ in Jesus name

5) I blocked any spirit intrusion into my mind in Jesus name

6) I feed my mind with the truth of God's word, and I don't let negativity here.

7) The fullness of God's spirit is resided in me. I'm not a void.
